How DC Tape Clips Are Used

DC tape clips are used to secure bare copper tape conductors to walls, roofs, parapets, and other surfaces in lightning protection and earthing systems. They hold the tape firmly in position and help maintain a neat, continuous conductor route from the air-termination network toward the earth-termination system.

During installation, the clips are fixed at regular intervals along the planned conductor path. The copper tape is then positioned in each clip and fastened so that it remains secure without being crushed or damaged. Clip spacing and fixing methods should follow the project design, site conditions, and applicable lightning protection standards.
